What is it about the way we “do” assessment that might specifically support learning for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit students? Are there some practices that potentially clash with the worldviews, cultural beliefs, and values of Indigenous students, their families, and their communities? If we want to fully support learning for our First Nations, Metis, and Inuit students, it’s time to examine the impact of our assessment practices!
